Rocuronium-specific antibodies drive perioperative anaphylaxis but can also function as reversal agents in preclinical models
Rocuronium, a common muscle relaxant for surgeries, can cause rare but severe reactions like anaphylaxis. While sugammadex reverses its effects, it may also trigger anaphylaxis. Recent studies highlight antibody mechanisms behind these reactions and propose high-affinity antibodies as potential new treatments.
