ISPAR held its 2025 Annual General Meeting online, bringing members together to review progress and plan future activities in perioperative allergy.
Key updates included:
- A scientific presentation by Professor Paul Michel Mertes on sensitisation to neuromuscular blocking agents beyond the pholcodine era
- ISPAR’s growing network of 481 members across 64 countries
- Progress on the ISPAR website, data-collection tools and future projects
- Collaboration with the World Allergy Organization on perioperative allergy services
- Planning for the ISPAR meeting in Antwerp on 8 April 2026
- Future international sessions in Kyoto in October 2026
