Conference organising committee
The ISPAR V Symposium was held in Antwerp, Belgium, on 8 April 2026.
The meeting brought together 112 delegates from 18 countries for a full day of scientific exchange and international collaboration in perioperative allergy.
The programme included a range of talks covering skin testing, in vitro testing, red flags, and risk factors in perioperative allergic reactions. The symposium concluded with a powerful session highlighting the patient and family perspective, which was particularly well received by delegates.
Feedback from the meeting emphasised the high quality of the presentations, the practical focus of the talks, and the valuable opportunity to network with colleagues working in the field.
Congratulations to Dr Luc De Chaisemartin, who won the prize for best abstract presentation.
