2024 Joint ANZAAG/ISPAR Symposium
Theme: Expect the Unexpected
The 2024 Joint ANZAAG/ISPAR Symposium was held in Melbourne, bringing together local and international experts in perioperative allergy and anaphylaxis.
The programme included sessions on antibiotic allergy, hidden and unexpected allergens, NMBD-related perioperative anaphylaxis, mast cell disorders and biomarkers, drug provocation, communication after perioperative anaphylaxis, and interactive workshops on anaphylaxis management and perioperative allergy testing.
The meeting also featured the inaugural Malcolm Fisher Prize, recognising outstanding work in perioperative allergy and anaphylaxis.
